OVERVIEW

New Blood Bank at CUH involved an extension to and renovation of the existing building. This project required diligence and meticulous planning throughout each phase of the project. Management of dust, hygiene, and noise control, were paramount as this location was close to theatres.

Significant coordination of electrical, mechanical and data services was vital, with O’Shea’s Builders Providers coordinating the re-location of sensitive equipment.

Further work included; upgrade of adjoining clinic to hygiene standard HTM 301, replacement of wall and floor coverings, and cleaning of air handling plus A/C plant.
