Michael O’Shea B.E., Managing Director

Michael joined the firm in 1994, having worked for three years in the UK for a civil engineering contractor. Michael has over seen the transition of the firm from the previous generation of management, including the relocation of premises and company restructuring. His responsibilities are New Business Development, staff appointment & training, and Health & Safety.

Bob Deane ARICS, ASCS, Surveying Director

Bob joined the firm in 1978 and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of the industry. Bob is responsible for the firms estimating function, and also the supervision & training of the team of five surveyors.

John Janeczek B.E. CEng., MICE, Construction Director

John joined the company in 2005 with 25 years industry experience. John’s role is to lead the team of contracts managers and site managers, and is responsible for the successful execution & completion of projects.

Aidan O’Shea B.E. CEng., Chairman

Aidan was managing director of the firm from 1964 to 2004. Aidan successfully led the firm through economically challenging times, and consolidated the firm’s position as a significant player in Cork. Although not involved in day-to-day activities, Aidan provides invaluable experience and guidance to the directors.

Michael McSwiney, Financial Controller & Company Secretary

Michael joined the firm in 2004, having spent 30 years in the construction industry. Michael’s role includes,- cost control & budgeting, management accounting, and management of the firm’s administration.
